【博物館】大雪時における博物館の対応について

博物館敷地およびその周辺は除雪が必要となる面積が広く、湖畔の高台に立地し吹き溜まりも発生することから、除雪作業には時間を要します。
また市内道路の除雪状況によっては、雪が止んでいても職員の出勤が困難となる場合もあり、開館時間（午前9時30分）までに作業が完了しない場合があります。
あらかじめご了承ください。

お客さまの安全面からも、大雪時・後は不要不急の外出を避け、ご来館時間の変更、別の機会のご来館なども検討いただければと存じます。

なお、大雪警報・暴風雪警報および特別警報の発表時などは、「臨時休館」「開館時間の変更」をさせていただく場合があります。

Museum response during heavy snowfall

The museum grounds and surrounding area require snow removal for a large area, and as the museum is located on high ground by a lake and snowdrifts occur, snow removal work takes time.
Furthermore, depending on the snow removal situation on city roads, it may be difficult for staff to get to work even if the snow has stopped, and work may not be completed by opening time (9:30am).
We ask for your understanding in advance.
For the safety of our customers, we ask that you avoid unnecessary outings during and after heavy snowfall, and consider rescheduling your visit or visiting at another time.
Furthermore, when heavy snow warnings, blizzard warnings, or special warnings are issued, the museum may be closed temporarily or its opening hours may be changed.
